JIVIKA "source of life"
a kantha is a style of embroidery found often in India. it is a technique that repurposes old saris, stacking them together and quilting to create a thick, colorful quilt. we love these blankets because they are funky, whimsical in their eclectic design, and durable. we like to keep one in our car for those spontaneous summer picnics!
*note- there will sometimes be visible patches and wear due to the vintage of the textile.
our love for all things h'mong is undying! we love the exotic colour palette and combinations- always unique and striking to our eye. we love that these pillows are quite subtle until you take a closer look and find the quirky coloured stripes. we have added brightly coloured Huichol poms from Mexico to take them a little over the top, but not too much! (wink wink). can't you just see them on a child's bed? the perfect whimsical accent to a little one's bed.
